Experimental factors that have integral values to indicate a qualitative level.
Inflated Brain

Interleaved Slice Acquisition
The collection of data in an alternating order, so that data is first acquired from the odd-numbered slices and then from the even-numbered slices, to minimize the influence of excitation pulses upon adjacent slices.
Interocular Trauma Test
An intuitive test of significance based on highly visible effects of the experimental manipulation. It states that data are significant if, when plotted, they hit you between the eyes.
Inverse Problem
The mathematical impossibility of determining the distribution of electrical source within an object based upon the measurement of electrical or magnetic field at the surface of the object.
