K
Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test
A test for statistical significance that evaluates whether two samples are drawn from the same distribution. The K-S test is sensitive to differences in variability and skew between distributions, but it is much less sensitive to differences in mean than the t-test.
k-space
A notation scheme used to describe MRI data. The use of k-space provides mathematical and conceptual advantages for describing the acquired MR signal in image form.
k-space trajectory
A path through k-space. Different pulse sequences adopt different k-space trajectories.
