fMRI Post-preprocessing

The following should get you an image with activation. Albeit our image showed activation in some weird areas.

sess1_comb.mat

sess2_comb.mat

sess3_comb.mat

sess4_comb.mat

sess5_comb.mat

 

 

 

Click on "Specify 1st Level"

 

Double Click "fMRI model specification"

 

Click on "Data and Design"

Create 2 new "Subject/Session" tabs

Double click on the first "Subject/Session" tab

Click on "Scans" and find all the files for just ONE run. E.g. motor-8-channel projector off

Click on "Conditions" and create 2 new Condition tabs

 

Double Click on the first Condition and modify the following:

Under "Name" make a name that describes what was going on during the first block. E.g. hands not moving

Under "Onsets" ONLY place the times during which that condition started E.g. 17 41 65 88

Under "Durations" place the duration for each block E.g. 12 12 12 12

 

The second Condition tab:

Under "Name" make a name that describes what was going on during the other block. E.g. hand moving

Under "Onsets" place the times when this condition started E.g. 5 29 53 77

Under "Durations" place the duration for each block E.g. 12 12 12 12

 

Click "Run"

After the file has run, click on "Estimate" in the main menu

 

Double Click on "Model Estimation"

Click on "Select SPM.mat" and find the place where your SPM file is located

Click "Run"
