I am interested in perception of abstract art. I am curious about what will happen when viewing an abstract art piece and varying the context of viewing. For example, if someone were in a scanner and they were shown an abstract piece and then asked to view this image as a bird or a house or something to that effect; basically inducing a mild hallucination based upon the meaning that one assigns to the scene at hand.
Also interested in language and alteration of consciousness.
